The vision of The Carpenter House is to support the development of healthy homes and environments for low income children to thrive and reach their highest potential for academic success. Achieved through a holistic approach that provides access to outstanding mentors, enriching activities and organized sports to youth while creating a gateway to deliver multigenerational resources, such as nutrition and financial literacy, that aim to break down barriers to creating healthy homes. Our goal is to invest in, build and inspire communities of change.

New! Carpenter House Careers
The Carpenter House is proud to announce a new partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools to find, train and hire 75 individuals as teachers aides in special needs classrooms. We are proud that through creative partnerships we can work to help tackle one of our city’s major barriers to success – quality employment.
Carpenter House Communities
The lack of affordable housing is a significant hardship for low-income and single parent households, preventing them from meeting the basic needs of nutrition, healthcare, education and financial stability. Carpenter House Communities (CHC) looks to address these issues.
